For dogs — safe for the people applying it, too. Spray onto your hands or directly onto the coat, then rub onto the back, legs, and top of the tail. Avoid the face, ears, and intimate areas. Made for dogs; do not use on cats.

A gentle, oil-based spray for dogs who go where the mosquitoes are. Fractionated coconut and jojoba carry a low, dog-appropriate dose of lavender, cedarwood, and frankincense — worked into the coat, right where bugs land.

From Nugget's Own

The trail doesn't have to bite back.

Dogs do their living exactly where mosquitoes do theirs — the tall grass, the creek edge, the golden hour when every good smell comes out. Asking a dog to skip that hour isn't a real option, and most bug products made for people were never meant for a body that grooms itself with its tongue.

So this one is built for the dog. The base is fractionated coconut and jojoba — coat-friendly oils that condition while they work — carrying lavender, cedarwood, and frankincense at a deliberately low dilution. A dog's nose is a serious instrument, and this blend respects it: enough scent to matter to a mosquito, gentle enough not to crowd out the world your dog is out there reading.

It goes on like a grooming ritual rather than a treatment. Spray it into your hands or along the coat, then rub it down the back, the legs, the top of the tail — the landing strips, in other words. The oil settles into the coat and stays through the walk, and the fur comes out softer for it.

Named for Nugget, tested on Nugget, approved by Nugget — a dog with strong opinions and a full calendar of adventures, walks, and sniffing.

Juniperus virginiana

Warm, grounding, and long worked with for keeping pests off animals.

Frankincense

Boswellia carterii

Good to know

Questions, answered

The dilution is deliberately low, so a stray lick of coat isn't a crisis — but apply it where the tongue doesn't easily reach, the back, legs, and top of the tail. Conveniently, that's also where the bugs land.

No — this is formulated for dogs. Cats process essential oils very differently, so keep this one on the canine side of the house.

You can — it's safe for the human doing the applying, and plenty of hands come away softer for it. But the Unbothered Body Spray is the one actually built for people.
