Shipping

Everything here is made by hand, in small batches, in Bothell, Washington — so here's how shipping works, and what to do if something isn't right.

Where we ship

We currently ship within the United States.

When it ships

Because every order is made by hand in small batches, please allow up to two weeks for your order to be made and packed before it ships. We don't keep big shelves of inventory — your goods are often made after you order, with care and not in a hurry. You'll get a tracking number by email once it's on its way.

What it costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout by the weight of your order and where it's headed, so you pay the real carrier rate — nothing padded on top. We don't offer free shipping at this time.

Once it ships

From there, delivery time is in the carrier's hands. If a package seems stuck, lost, or arrives damaged, reach out — see Returns below and we'll help you sort it.

Returns

Opened or used goods

Our products are handmade and meant to touch skin and home — oils, blends, botanicals. For your safety and everyone's, we can't accept returns on opened or used items.

Unopened items

Unopened, unused items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Email us first at help@sassyroots.com and we'll walk you through it. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless the order arrived damaged or wrong.

If something's wrong

If your order arrives damaged, or you received the wrong item, that's ours to make right. Email help@sassyroots.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and a photo, and we'll replace it or refund you — and cover any return shipping.

Refunds

Once a return or claim is approved, refunds go back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

A note on plants

Plants are powerful. If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, read the ingredients and patch test before fuller use. These goods are made to support everyday care — they aren't a substitute for medical treatment.
