Handcrafted

Water (Aqua), Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Alcohol, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Juniperus Virginiana (Cedarwood) Oil, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Neroli) Flower Oil, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil.

Shake gently, then mist over arms, legs, and the back of the neck before you head out. Reapply as the evening goes on. Avoid the eyes and broken skin, patch test if your skin runs sensitive, and use externally only.

A botanical body spray that keeps mosquitoes at a respectful distance — a witch hazel base carrying lavender, cedarwood, and neroli with a clean bite of peppermint. Smells like you, not like bug spray.

Why this spray

Smells good to you, but not to the bugs.

Somewhere along the way we all accepted a bad bargain: either you get eaten alive, or you fog yourself in something that smells like a chemistry set and makes you hold your breath while you spray it. Neither of those is a summer evening.

This takes the route the plants have been taking all along. Lavender, cedarwood, and peppermint are scents mosquitoes make a point of avoiding — plants have long used aromatics as their own boundary-keeping. Here they ride on a witch hazel base that mists light, dries fast, and leaves your skin exactly as it found it. No film, no sting, no cloud you have to walk through.

Neroli is what makes it wearable. It lifts and brightens the blend so the whole thing lands as a fragrance you chose rather than a treatment you tolerated — fresh, slightly sweet, grounded underneath. People will ask what you're wearing. Mosquitoes will not.

Mist it on before the cookout, the porch sit, the garden hour, the evening walk. Reapply when the evening runs long. That's the whole practice.

Be outside. Be unbothered.

What's inside

The plants doing real work

Witch Hazel

Hamamelis virginiana

The base — light, fast-drying, and gentle on skin, carrying the blend without stickiness.

Lavender

Lavandula angustifolia

The softening lead — a scent people love and mosquitoes avoid.

Cedarwood

Juniperus virginiana

Grounds the blend low and warm, and keeps the boundary firm.

Neroli

Citrus aurantium amara

Lifts and brightens — the reason this wears like fragrance, not repellent.

Peppermint

Mentha piperita

A small, sharp note that helps hold the line. Kept at a skin-considerate level.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Think of it like a light fragrance — a fresh mist every couple of hours, or whenever the evening stretches on and the scent fades. The scent is doing the work, so when you can't smell it anymore, it's time.

The base is water and witch hazel, so it dries clean on skin. Essential oils can mark very delicate fabrics, so mist your skin rather than your silk — and let it dry before you lean on anything precious.

Your dog has their own — Nugget's Own Unbothered Pet Spray is oil-based and dosed for dogs. This one is built for people-skin.
